My Tupperware Hell

Quick question: Which of these two same-sized lids fits this container?
Neither. It was a trick question. The answer is this third same-sized lid:
I’m referring to it as Tupperware, but we all know there are dozens of brands that do the same thing. And unless you live your life dedicated to brand loyalty, you too will end up with this problem.
The real issue is that it’s not efficient to store them with the lid on. You fit much more if you stack them and have the lids stored underneath. But then, you’re playing my guessing game.
I’m assuming you have a favorite “plastic container” brand? (My favorite is actually glass, but it’s not cost-effective, given how much of this stuff I routinely give away.)
At one point, we got rid of all our old tupperware and got new to try to resolve this problem. And years later we now still are having to try to figure out which lids go with what, moreso with our larger ones. Who knows where the variations came from.
