These drawers
Good Morning.
These drawers are to the left of the stovetop.
Here’s how they’ve traditionally been used:
The top drawer contains all our lengthy boxes of aluminum foil, plastic wrap, wax paper or parchment paper, and also our kitchen scale and thermometers.
Below that, the taller drawer contains aprons and oven mitts, and storage for unopened foils.
The lowest drawer contains tiki cups and old chocolate, but that’s a story for a different day.
Here’s my new plan, not yet accomplished:
The tall middle drawer can fit everything described, but can also fit our open foils. I plan to replace all the vanity cloth oven mitts with useful silicone ones. I’ll fold the aprons.
The top drawer will become Milo’s baking equipment drawer. Measuring cups and spoons, silicone spatulas, and I guess the thermometer and kitchen scale will stay there.
The goal, of course, is to remove all barriers to baked goods.
